  • Information you share with us directly, for example through coaching sessions, feedback submissions, or WhatsApp messages

  • Information about how you use our website (via cookies and analytics tools — see Section 8)

You are not required to provide personal information to browse our website, but we will need certain details to deliver our services to you.

  • Meet our legal obligations

4. LAWFUL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Under UK GDPR, we must have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. We rely on the following:

  • Contract: to deliver the services you have purchased.

  • Legitimate interests: to communicate with you about our services, improve our offering, and protect our business, where this does not override your rights.

  • Consent: for marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.

  • Legal obligation: where we are required to process data to comply with the law.

5. WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted third parties who help us run our business, including:

  • Payment processors (to handle transactions securely)

  • Email service providers (to send communications)

  • Website hosting and analytics providers

All third-party providers we use are required to handle your data securely and in line with applicable data protection law. We only share what is necessary for them to perform their service.

We may also disclose your information where required by law, for example in response to a court order or to prevent fraud or harm.

6. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

We are based in the UK and our services are available worldwide. Some of our third-party providers may be based outside the UK or EEA, which means your data may be transferred internationally.

Where data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the relevant authorities, or transfers to countries with an adequacy decision. By using our services, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in countries outside your own.

7. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law.

  • Purchase and account records: retained for 6 years in line with UK tax and accounting requirements.

  • Email marketing data: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

  • Coaching and programme data: retained for the duration of your service and for a reasonable period afterwards.

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it securely.

8. COOKIES AND ANALYTICS

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to improve your experience. This may include tools such as Google Analytics.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features of the website may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

We will ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies, in line with UK PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations).

9. YOUR RIGHTS

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right of access: you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Right to rectification: you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

  • Right to erasure: you can ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances (the "right to be forgotten").

  • Right to restrict processing: you can ask us to limit how we use your data.

  • Right to data portability: you can ask us to provide your data in a portable format.

  • Right to object: you can object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing.

  • Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at ericavanmanen@outlook.com. We will respond within one month. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113. If you are based in the EEA, you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
